Pontiac Back Home

Pontiac apparently got into something toxic last night. An afternoon at the vet getting flushed out with IV fluids did the trick. They also gave him some charcoal to absorb the toxins. He is the first animal the vet has ever run across that bit the end off the syringe and swallowed it then drank the charcoal from a bowl. He is an idiot, but we love him anyway. He is sleeping on my legs right now.

    Wow, be more careful in the future, Pontiac! I suppose any cat that prefers to drink the charcoal from a bowl is bound to eat some unpalatable stuff, though. I'm glad he's home sleepin' on your legs!

    Pontiac should meet my Rosie...she's a little...odd, shall we say....too! Glad the car kitty is doing better.
