Another Tree Falls.... This One With A Loud BANG!

This one hit the house. Luckily it had been dead for a long time and broke before the house did. Except for having to replace the gutter I think we are fine. My husband's beautiful stacked slate waterfall is in trouble though.When he gets home he'll have to get up on the roof and see if there is more damage than I am seeing though. The cats are spooked and Stephanie and I are trying to calm down.

A silly grasshopper was climbing the storm door. It moved quickly before I could snap the full picture of its belly through the glass.

The breeze is just a bit crisper, the clouds have a different air and the sky is somehow thinner and more transparent. Perfectly lovely.

New Button Flower Display for the Brick and Mortar Shop

My hands are cramped and cut from twisting wire.. And I have made more since these pictures were taken... I am happy with the Halloween colored flowers and I love the rusty ricer as a vase. Someone bought most of the flowers the shop had displayed plus the vintage milk bottle they were displayed in!

800 Googley Eyes

Instead of cleaning or cooking I glued 800 googley eyes to a wreath. What do you think of it?
